Playing sports such as soccer can be important learning experiences for children. Their time on the field, both during games and practices, help them learn how to deal with any number of situations, good and bad.
The Elkhorn Soccer Club promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, respect and fair play - all tenets of our mission statement - as we help foster growth and development through soccer and enjoyment of the game.
Parents play key roles in this process, as fans during games or simply in their parental roles away from the field. Coaches, many of whom volunteer their time, also are important in this process.
All ESC players, coaches, parents and spectators should remember that they are representing our club and our community, and their actions, comments and behaviors toward opposing players, coaches and fans and officials reflect on all of us.
